Imagine a world that doesn't know what a lie is. Picture everyone saying exactly what is on there mind, not holding back what they are thinking. Brutal honesty and pessimism at its highest level.
The Invention of Lying, starring Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe and countless other big names, is the story of Mark who is pretty much a loser in everyone's eyes.
Because no lies are ever told he is constantly put down about his weight and overall appearance and how crappy his life is. Until one day Mark suddenly develops the ability to lie and keeps telling lies to get what he wants. Money, a mansion, a girl..etc.
I wont say anymore because I dont want to give too much away. Honestly guys. HILARIOUS. loved this movie.
Warning for super religious people. The movie does have some content which may be found as offensive and sacreligious, HOWEVER if you can get past that...its ridiculously funny. Only thing that was kind of suckish about it was that it was a tad long.
