If all celebrities were this generous there wouldn't be so many children starving in the world or animals being illegally killed for their body parts. After devoting much of his Twitter page to the cause, not only did Leonardo DiCaprio donate a million dollars to The WWF (World Wildlife Fund) but he also helped raise 2o million dollars for The Save Tigers Now campaign. Here is what the actor had to say about why we should help:
"Illegal poaching of tigers for their parts and massive habitat loss due to palm oil, timber, and paper production are driving this species to extinction,”
“If we don’t take action now, one of the most iconic animals on our planet could be gone in just a few decades,"
"By saving tigers, we can also protect some of our last remaining ancient forests and improve the lives of indigenous communities."
